Mother's Day Brunch Preview at PAI Honolulu

If you haven't made your Mother's Day reservations yet, I highly suggest you make reservations NOW at PAI Honolulu.  They will be offering their first brunch ever, and I was lucky enough to get a preview of the four-course menu.

Herb Breakfast Potatoes, PAI Breakfast Sausage, Pickled Onion

Pain Perdu, House Bacon, Maple-Shoyu Syrup, Fruit

Smoked Salmon Benedict, Mentaiko Hollandaise, Soft Egg, English Muffin

Lilikoi Panna Cotta, Almond Cookie Crumble, Roasted Strawberries
Brunch was simply amazing.

From the perfectly seasoned potatoes, to the delicate panna cotta - every dish was delicious!

The potatoes and sausages were a hearty way to start brunch.  If that was the only dish I ate, I would have been satisfied, but thank goodness I still had plenty of room for the the Pain Perdu.

This elevated French toast was the star of the brunch.  A brilliant combination of textures and flavors won raves from the guests.  If you want to make this dish even more luxurious, you can opt for a Foie Gras add-on!

The smoked salmon benedict (vegetarian option available) was also fabulous, and the panna cotta was a light, yet flavorful way to end the lovely brunch.

I honestly hope brunch at PAI becomes a regular thing!
