Saito and Pho III

Saito and Pho opened up their third location in Mililani, and we recently ordered take out from this Japanese / Vietnamese eatery.

Pork & Chicken Gyoza

Chicken Katsu
The kids loved the Chicken Katsu, and I thought the Gyoza was really good (crispy on the outside and tender and flavorful on the inside).

The Chicken Katsu Don was packed deconstructed for take-out, with rice in a separate container.  I would have liked the rice in the same container, but in any case, I thought this dish was tasty.  The combo of chicken katsu, rice, onions, egg, and tempura sauce was delish!

Because we ordered take-out, we had multiple containers of food per dish, with the exception of the Gyoza and Chicken Katsu (e.g. tempura + udon noodles + broth for the Tempura Udon). Next time I'd probably order "plate lunches" instead for take-out - it would be so much quicker to eat, and there would be a lot less waste!
