Visit Big Island: Hale Kai Restaurant at Fairmont Orchid

What better way to dine by the beach than with toes in the sand and cocktail in hand?

You can experience just that at Hale Kai Restaurant at the Fairmont Orchid, a casual dining venue where you can enjoy tropical cocktails and hearty eats.

Fish and Chips
I can't resist anything with fries, so I opted for the Fish and Chips.  Three pieces of brew-battered fish were perfectly seasoned and cooked.  It was really good, and quite filling!

Huge chunks of ahi and avocado combined to create the Ahi Avocado Poke, which was served with vibrant sweet potato chips and a sriracha aioli.

The colorful Hawaiian Buddah Bowl consisted of cucumbers, tomatoes, avocados, hearts of palm, beets, chick peas, kale, queso fresco, and a pineapple vinaigrette.

Service was great and the view was just so pretty!

Perfect for families is Ohana Hour, where you can bring the kids for food and fun!  From 4pm-5pm daily, you can get deals on food and drink, and play games with the family!
