KCC Food Truck

Thanks to Instagram, I recently discovered that Kapiolani Community College has been operating a food truck on the KCC campus for about a month now. The truck is operated by KCC Culinary students under the guidance of KCC Chef instructor Lee Shinsato.

Today's daily special was fish tacos, furikake chips, and salad for $9. What a deal. It came with generous portions of fish, made to order, so the food was hot when I received it.  It was very moist and tasty! It's hard to believe it was prepared by culinary students, as it was better tasting than other fish tacos prepared by regular restaurants!

The food truck was running a promo this week:like, share, post and tag them on social media, you get a free drink with any purchase of a poke bowl, wrap, salad, or daily special, so a scored a bottle of Voss sparking water with my plate lunch!

Follow them on Instagram to find out the special of the day!
