Recently-Opened in Haleiwa - Maya's Tapas and Wine

Just opened a few months ago is Maya's Tapas and Wine in the North Shore Marketplace in Haleiwa.

This charming eatery offers some great Happy Hour deals, and a menu filled with Mediterranean eats.

We ordered a few bites from both the Happy Hour and regular menus.

Vegetable Medley Flatbread

Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

Patatas Bravas

Cheese & Charcuterie

Bistec

Duroc Pork Spare Ribs

The Flatbread, Patatas Bravas, and Hummus were part of the Happy Hour Menu and were just $5 each. Regular servings of these items can be found on the regular menu at regular prices.

The kids enjoyed the Patatas Bravas - potatoes mixed with chorizo, feta, and honey, as well as the Hummus (I do wish they gave more bread to go along with the hummus).

The Bistec was a 14oz Kunoa ribeye steak, served with chimichurri, shishito peppers, and caramelized onions.

The Special of the Day - a Duroc Pork Spare Ribs in a homemade chipotle sauce atop a bed of fingerling potato salad in a duck fat aioli, was my favorite dish. The meat was so juicy and tender, and the potato salad was delish too!

I thought service was excellent, and I'd definitely return to Maya's Tapas and Wine!
