Visit Maryland: The Capital Wheel

While at the National Harbor in Maryland, we decided to take a spin on The Capital Wheel.

At 180-feet tall with 42 gondolas, The Capital Wheel sees anywhere from 600,000 to 800,000 passengers a year.

We bought tickets at The Capital Wheel ticket office at National Harbor, but you can also buy tickets online at the pier ticket office right in front of The Capital Wheel.

It takes approximately 12-15 minutes for the entire ride, with an average of 2-minutes per rotation (including letting people on and off).
We saw great views of the National Harbor and the Potomac River while on The Capital Wheel.

It was a fun way to see the sights!
