Shaka Tea's Be the Aloha Digital Series

A few weeks ago I attended a premiere screening of Be the Aloha, Shaka Tea's digital series featuring community change-makers:
  • Austin Kino: Apprentice Navigator & Entrepreneur, Holokino Hawaii
  • Casea Collins-Wright: Creative & Experience Producer, The Surfjack
  • Josh Tengan: Curator & Producer, CONTACT, Native Books/ Na Mea Hawaii & Honolulu Biennial
  • Kimie Miner: Singer, Songwriter, Producer & Founder, Haku Collective
  • Mark Noguchi & Amanda Corby Noguchi: Entrepreneurs & Founders, Pili Group & Under My Umbrella Inc

It was an inspiring night, as we watched clips of the change-makers' stories.  Whether through cultural experiences, food, art, or music, it was obvious how each individual's passion centered around bettering the community.

This month, the featured change-maker is Austin Kino.  Be sure to check out www.shakatea.com/bethealoha for more information on Be The Aloha, and be inspired!
