Tanuki Sushi

A small, hole-in-the-wall sushi bar recently opened in Kaneohe, and it's a gem.

It seats about 15 people (7 at the sushi bar), which is probably all they can handle since it's a two-man show for now. So if you're planning to dine here, you may want to book a reservation in advance, especially if you're dining with more than one person.

Since they do not have a full kitchen, you won't see many traditional cooked items on the  menu, like tempura, chicken teriyaki, katsu, etc. But they do have a variety of sushi and sashimi offerings that will satisfy any sushi/sashimi fan.

Mixed Greens salad

Hamachi Carpaccio

Rainbow Roll

Salmon Dyno Roll

Salmon/Avocado Roll & Unagi/Avocado Roll

Another great thing about Tanuki Sushi is that they are BYOB, so bring your beer, wine, or sake!!
