Visit Tokyo: Isomaru Suisan

While in Ueno, we dined at Isomaru Suisan for lunch, a place we stumbled upon while we walked around looking at picture menus.

Don't be fooled if it looks like it's busy, because as with most restaurants in Tokyo, there are multiple levels.  At first it didn't seem like there was room for our family of 5, but we were directed to the second level (and there was also a third level).
Noodles with Okonomiyaki Sauce

Fried Crab Rice

Tuna with Korean Chili Paste Bowl

Fried Eggplant

Fried Chicken

Fried Camembert Cheese in Nori

Onion Rings
We definitely ordered a lot of fried foods, and they were all yummy, but I really enjoyed the Eggplant the most.  I ate almost the entire dish myself!  My kids loved the Noodles and Fried Rice!

This izakaya eatery has several locations throughout Tokyo.  Fortunately, you can order off a tablet menu in English.

The service was prompt and friendly, and Isomaru Suisan turned out to be a great discovery!
