Visit Pennsylvania: Miller's Smorgasbord

Miller's Smorgasbord in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, began with a simple dish of Chicken & Waffles served up by Anna Miller, and has since evolved to a multi-award winning restaurant serving a traditional smorgasbord dinner using fresh, local ingredients.

At just $25.49 (drinks not included) you can eat your fill of soups, salads, veggies, pastas, fish, chicken, seafood, desserts, and so much more!

Offerings included baked cabbage, beef burgundy, Swedish meatballs, slow roasted beef, fried chicken, grilled ham, brown butter noodles, ciabatta rolls, veggie fried rice, sweet & sour ham, baked apples, bread pudding, chocolate mousse cheesecake... I could go on and on!!

My kids loved the meatballs, French fries, shrimp, and ice cream!

We were all astounded at just how much food choices there were.

I made sure to try some Pennsylvania Dutch staples, such as the famous Chicken & Waffles, Red Beet Eggs, Chicken Corn Soup, and the Shoofly Pie.

The Shoofly Pie was amazing!!

For those with smaller appetites, you can order dishes off the menu, or opt for a soup and salad buffet.  But at just over $25, you can't go wrong with the Traditional Smorgasbord Dinner!

If you find yourself in Lancaster County, definitely make a stop at Miller's Smorgasbord for dinner and indulge in a delicious bounty of eats!
