Dinner at Arancino at The Kahala

Nat and Nadia spoiled me for my birthday, taking me to Arancino at The Kahala.  I've been to Arancino di Mare at the Waikiki Beach Marriott and absolutely loved it, so I knew I would be in for a treat!

For our entrees, we all ordered a pasta!

Spaghetti ai Ricci di Mare

Spaghetti all Carbonara

Pappardelle alla Bolognese
I opted for the Spaghetti alla Carbonara, which was served "deconstructed" with a poached egg.  The dish was amazing!  Served with a truffle butter and pancetta, the pasta was just incredible when mixed all together with the egg.  We all wiped out our pasta dishes!

But we still had room for dessert!

In addition to indulging in a complimentary birthday dessert, we each ordered a dessert as well!

I ordered the cheesecake, which was made with passion fruit mascarpone.  It was quite tart, and a lot lighter than I typically like my cheesecakes, but it was still delicious.

We had a fantastic dinner, with great service.
