Dinner at Arancino di Mare

Arancino di Mare is one of my favorite Italian eateries on Oahu. I've never had a bad dining experience here, food-wise and service-wise. So you can imagine how happy I was when I received an email notifying me that I had just won a gift card for Arancino from a contest sponsored by Localicious Hawai`i, which is Hawai`i Agricultural Foundation's (HAF) public awareness campaign that recognizes restaurants for their commitment to buying local.

Here's what we enjoyed on this particular visit:

Affettato Misto

Carpaccio di Capesante

Cheese Pizza (Keiki Menu)

Spaghetti Mozzarella Cheese & Tomato Sauce (Keiki Menu)

Spaghetti Con Tobiko e Calamari

Pappardelle con Scampi

Pappardelle alla Bolognese

Panna Cotta, Tiramisu, Crema Catalana

We sat outside on their open terrace and enjoyed our food at a very leisurely pace. The wait staff and managers were very visible and came around often to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, which it was. My 4 year old twins (a.k.a. picky eaters) ate their pizza and pasta while marveling at the tour buses, trolley buses, and emergency vehicles that would drive by every so often.

The food was amazing ... seriously one of the best meals I've had in a while, and I can't wait to return again!
