Visit Hilo: Hawaiian Style Cafe

One of my favorite restaurants from our Hilo trip was Hawaiian Style Cafe.  One of Melissa's friends had suggested the place, and I'm so glad he did, because they serve amazing breakfasts!

Kulana Blood Sausage and Eggs with Fried Rice

Chicken Cutlet Loco Moco

Da Tita Mok

I ordered the Chicken Cutlet Loco Moco.  I love chicken cutlet (I love gravy!), and the chicken was just so tender and flavorful on its own.  With the rice, grilled onions, and gravy - it was total comfort food!  I would've been happy with just the chicken cutlet and no eggs.

Da Tita Mok comes with chicken cutlet, hamburger patty, SPAM, and eggs.

Service was great, and the portions are gigantic!

We arrived at 9am so there was a bit of a wait for a table, but it was so worth it!  It was one of the best meals I had in Hilo!
