Lunch at Nico's Pier 38

It's been years since I've been to Nico's Pier 38. In fact, it was before they renovated back in 2011, and before they were put on the map by Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.

One of the signature dishes here is the furikake pan seared ahi.

The Pier 38 Fish Burger, featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, comes with TWO ground fish patties.

Don't forget to check out the dessert case, located between the cashier and pick up area. It's loaded with house-made cakes, cheesecakes, bars, and and pies. My favorite is the chocolate peanut butter stack - it's seriously to-die-for.

They also have a Fish Market, stocked with goodies made in Hawaii...

and of course, locally caught fish straight from the morning's fish auction.
