Visit Louisville: SuperChefs

Our last night in Louisville we dined at SuperChefs for dinner, where the restaurant is decked out in superhero posters and the menu is also superhero-themed.

Spiderboy - Burger with Fries

Superboy - Hand-Breaded Chicken Nuggets with Fries

Pop Pop's Lamb Chop Lollipops

Batboy - Grilled Cheese with Mac & Cheese

Blue Salad

Magneto
I ordered the Magneto - a red velvet waffle sandwich consisting of egg, candied bacon, buttermilk fried chicken, and smoked bourbon honey. I thought the waffle was too sweet, but I really liked everything else in the sandwich - especially the chicken and bacon!

The Blue Salad was a nice mixture of apples, blue cheese, goat cheese, candied pecans, and greens.

Kids meals range from $6.99 to $8.99, and I was quite impressed with the food.  No frozen chicken nuggets or boxed macaroni and cheese - everything is freshly made!

Service was great, and I was pleasantly surprised with the food - both in presentation and in taste!
