Kansai Yamato, creator of a variety of mochi confections, is located in Moanalua 99, and we decided to order some sweet treats from there.

Mochi Crepe with Ice Cream

Mochi Ice Cream
The Mochi Crepe with Ice Cream is basically a large, flattened piece of mochi, piled high with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, strawberries, whipped cream, and a drizzle of chocolate syrup.

I'm not a huge fan of mochi, but I did give this a try, and it was pretty good (although I did think there was just way too much whipped cream).  My youngest son loved it.

My two older kids opted for Mochi Ice Cream. They each got 1 OREO and 1 Chocolate.  The pieces were pretty huge, and they would have been easily filled up with just 1 piece each.

Unfortunately, service was lacking, and a couple of the employees working were not very friendly, so I probably won't be going back any time soon.
