808 Basketball Club Offers Weekly Clinic

Recently my 7 year old son began to show an interest in basketball.  Not having a clue where to start, I queried my Facebook friends and they did not let me down.  In addition to i9 Sports, Police Activities League, and many other groups offering basketball play during a specified season, there were also weekly basketball clinics where we could just drop in.

One such clinic is run by 808 Basketball Club held at Roosevelt High School gym on Sundays.  The year round clinic teaches fundamentals and is for boys and girls from preschool through high school.  The participation fee is $8, but discounted to $5 if you purchase and wear an 808 Basketball Club t-shirt.  Each player needs to bring a basketball.

I could tell my son was nervous, but he did his best to follow the coaches and other players.  Afterwards, he told me he really liked it and wanted to return so thank you to 808 Basketball Club!
