Fly the Island Way with Island Air

Passengers board the aircraft from the front and back.

Last week Friday, Gem and I hopped on an Island Air flight to Maui for a day of fun, eating, and sightseeing.  Living in Hawaii, we're lucky that the other islands are just a short flight away because there is so much to discover and see.  We chose Maui for our day adventure because of its abundance of food choices and attractions.

When we arrived at the commuter terminal at the airport, it was awesome to see shorter TSA lines than what I'm used to.  Check in was also a breeze with the friendly Island Air agents.  Island Air offers passengers free WiFi and charge stations while they wait for their flights.  Another thing I loved was that they provided complimentary coffee and newspapers.  All these thoughtful amenities really gave me a sense that the Aloha spirit is important to Island Air and that they care about each and every one of their passengers.

But first, coffee.

Island Air offers more than 200 weekly flights between the islands of O‘ahu, Maui, Kaua‘i and Hawai‘i Island using a fleet of Q400 Turboprop aircraft.  What's wonderful about the Q400s is that they give you amazing views so be sure to choose that window seat.  On the flights, you'll also get complimentary beverage service offerings including Maui Coffee Company coffee - exclusively served on Island Air.
Amazing views of Oahu on our Island Air flight to Maui.

Really enjoyed these beautiful sights of our islands throughout the flight.

We had a wonderful experience Flying the Island Way and wouldn't hesitate to fly with them again!  Thank you to Island Air for our complimentary airfares and for the fun filled day!
