Tater Tot Casserole

I used to make Tater Tot Casseroles a lot, and since I've been on a tater tot kick lately, I decided to make one, but in a different way than I used to.

I usually make them by combining 1 can of cream of mushroom soup with 1 cup of sour cream and 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.  I then toss about 2 lbs of frozen tater tots into the mixture, spread everything into a 9x13 pan, and bake for 45 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

This time, however, I combined 1 can of cream of mushroom soup with 1 cup of sour cream, and spread the mixture onto the bottom of a 9x13 pan.

Then I added a layer of bacon!  I took about 1/2 cup of crumbled bacon and sprinkled it onto the sour cream mixture.

Next I placed a layer of tater tots, then I sprinkled with 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 minutes.

Enjoy!
