Yohei Sushi Restaurant

@WeHeartHawaii, one of my dearest friends, turned 40 years young today. To celebrate, I treated him to lunch at Yohei Sushi Restaurant in Kalihi. Both he and I are no strangers to Yohei - both of our families have been dining here for years. 



We both ordered the tempura & sushi & noodle combination meal. It had a little of everything we were craving. 

The sushi quality is always 5-star here - fresh tasting, with the perfect ratio of fish to rice.



 The tempura is always crispy and the thickness of the batter is always just right.


A must-have at Yohei is the green tea jello dessert.  Yohei is the only restaurant that makes it.
