Pineapple Xpress Shave Ice in Wahiawa

When I saw on Facebook that there's a place in Wahiawa that serves shave ice, I just had to go check it out.

That place is Pineapple Xpress, which is located in the 6Sixty Apparel shop.

Orange Dream, Melona, Passion Fruit with Mango Wango Sherbet

Strawberry, Bubble Gum, Cotton Candy

Cotton Candy, Pineapple, Blue Raspberry

Guava, Lemon, Watermelon with Vanilla Ice Cream
Small sizes are quite generous for just $3.  You can choose up to 3 flavors and add all sorts of toppings - ice cream, azuki beans, snow cap, etc. for an additional cost per item.

If you order your shave ice with ice cream or Really Ono's sherbet, it will be placed on top for presentation purposes, but you can request for it to be placed in the middle if you prefer.

There's a menu of popular combos if you can't decide amongst the numerous flavors, and you can even ask to "Unicorn" your shave ice (candy sprinkles, rainbow lollipop, shimmer gumballs) or "Build Your Monsta" (double, triple, or even quad shave ice!).

The shave ice was delicious and refreshing, and I enjoyed the sherbet with the shave ice.  It was a nice change from the typical vanilla ice cream, although I'd probably stick to vanilla ice cream next time simply because I just love vanilla ice cream with shave ice and the flavor contrast it provides.

There is counter seating for 4, plus a couple of benches outside.  There is very limited parking in the back of the shop, so street parking is an alternate option.
