Breakfast at Monterey Bay Canners

The last time I went to Monterey Bay Canners, it was for dinner with a friend.  Most recently, I went there for breakfast with the family!

Traditional Sourdough French Toast

Side Eggs

Fried Rice with Bacon & Eggs

Create Your own Omelette with Bacon, Mushrooms, and Cheddar

Strawberry Waffle

I ordered the Fried Rice with Bacon & Eggs.  I thought the fried rice was good, but I've had better elsewhere.  However, I did like that the fried rice was accompanied by lots of bacon and eggs - more than enough to share with the kids!

Next time, I'd order an omelette.  It was huge and stuffed with lots of ingredients!  The 3-egg omelette comes with rice or hash browns (fried rice for $3), and you can choose up to 3 ingredients for your omelette ($1 each additional item).

Our server was very friendly, but we were not thrilled about how long it took for us to get our food - over 30 minutes, with only 1 other table of 4 occupied in the restaurant.  Our server kept apologizing, however.

Breakfast is only served on the weekends from 7am - 11am.
