Matcha Cafe Maiko

Matcha was one of the top trends in 2016, and continues to be one of the widely consumed and instagrammed food item in 2017.  It's healthy, and when used as a flavoring for soft serve, it's irresistible on hot summer days and nights.



My favorite destination for matcha soft serve on Oahu is a tiny, unassuming shop on Kuhio Avenue in Waikiki called Matcha Cafe Maiko.


The Maiko special with matcha and vanilla swirl is amazing - it has a lot of goodies in there like chestnuts, matcha chiffon, and shiratama mochi. 


Give them a try the next time you're in Waikiki!
