Cinnamon Roasted Pears

We don't normally have pears in the house, but since we had a huge bag from the warehouse club store and I didn't want them to go bad, I decided to make some Cinnamon Baked Pears.

Simply take 4 rinsed and cleaned and pears and cut in half, making sure to scoop out seeds.

Melt 1/2 c (1 stick) of butter.  Brush butter onto pear slices, and mix remaining melted butter with 1 c of granola.

Combine 1/4 c sugar and 2 t cinnamon, and sprinkle about 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon of the mixture onto each pear slice.

Spoon granola mixture into pear halves.

Bake in a preheated 400-degree oven for approximately 30 to 35 minutes.

The pears are tasty straight out of the oven, but are even better topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a sprinkling of cinnamon sugar.

Yum!!
