Yellow Cab Pizza Co. Hawaii

Last night I attended a soft-opening of Yellow Cab Pizza Co. Hawaii, which is located in the Costco Iwilei Complex.

During the event guests were able to sample a variety of pizzas, pastas, wings, and even gelato!

Signature Pizzas are offered in 10", 14", and 18" sizes.

NY Classic - Pepperoni
New York's Finest - Italian sausage, ham, pepperoni, bacon, ground beef, black olives, mushrooms, onions, and tomatoes

Garden Special - tomatoes, olives, mushrooms, onions, red and green bell peppers

Yellow Cab Pizza Co. Hawaii also offers Rolled Pizzas, as well as Craft Pizzas.
Dear Darla (pre-rolled) - arugula, alfalfa sprouts, pepperoni, mushrooms, tomatoes, onions, black olives, and capers
Dear Darla Rolled Pizza

Margherita (Craft pizza)
I liked the NY Classic the best - thin, crispy crust, and tasty toppings.  I also enjoyed the Dear Darla Rolled Pizza when drizzled with a little housemade chili oil.

Wings pair perfectly with pizza, and Yellow Cab Pizza Co. offers three varieties:
Hot Wings
Barbecue
Garlic Parmesan
Many people raved about the Barbecue, but my fave was the Garlic Parmesan.  The wings were extra crispy, and I loved the subtle garlic flavor.

Yellow Cab Pizza Co. Hawaii also serves a few pasta dishes:
Aglio Olio Shrimp
Chicken Alfredo
Charlie Chan Chicken Pasta
I really enjoyed the Charlie Chan Chicken Pasta, which is reminiscent of Kung Pao chicken. Pasta, chicken, mushrooms, and peanuts are tossed in a spicy oriental sauce which had a nice kick to it.

If you still have room for dessert after all of the pizza, pasta, and wings, you can treat yourself to some gelato made by Il Gelato Hawaii.
Sea Salt Caramel

Prices are reasonable at Yellow Cab Pizza Co. Hawaii, ($6.75 for wings; $8.95 - $9.95 for pasta; and pizzas starting at $8.95 for a 10").  It's a great spot to take the family for lunch or dinner.
