Visit San Francisco: Jack's Prime Burgers & Shakes

After a long day by the waterfront in San Francisco, we drove back to San Mateo (where our hotel was located) and dined at Jack's Prime Burgers & Shakes.

Irish Nacho Fries

Jacked Up Crispy

Side Salad

Jack's Classic Cheeseburger

Kids Grilled Cheese with Fries

Kids Hot Dog with Fries

Ice Cream

Mint Chocolate Chip Shake
Triple Mousse
I love fries, and when there's bacon involved, I love them even more! I couldn't resist ordering the Irish Nacho Fries - fries topped with cheddar, bacon bits, and green onions, and served with a Tabasco mayo on the side. The fries were indeed yummy, and I really enjoyed the Tabasco mayo - I think I may eat my fries with Tabasco mayo from now on!

For my meal, I opted for the Jacked Up Crispy chicken sandwich - Deep fried chicken topped with roasted garlic mayo and cole slaw. It was so delicious! The chicken was tasty and tender. Since I indulged in the Irish Nacho Fries, I decided to get a Side Salad instead of Fries - it sure was a pretty salad!

My husband decided to take advantage of the $10 Tuesday Special - Jack's Classic Cheeseburger, Salad (or Fries), and upgraded to a Shake instead of a soda for $2 more.

Kids meals are reasonably-priced at $6.99 and include a drink.

For dessert, each of my kids ordered ice cream (two Mint Chocolate Chip, one Pumpkin), and I ordered the Triple Mousse (by the recommendation of our server) to share.
The Triple Mousse - consisting of dark, milk, and white chocolate mousse layers, was very light, and paired well with the rich ice cream.

Both the food and service were great, and we had a wonderful dining experience at Jack's Prime Burgers & Shakes.
