Cookies by the C

My sons recently turned THREE, and I needed arty favors for their classmates, and for the birthday celebration with our family.

I decided to order custom cookies by Cookie by the C so that the favors could represent their current obsession - Disney's CARS!

Cookies by the C is a family business affair consisting of owner and head baker Carolyn, and her two wonderful and talented daughters Caitlyn and Cameryn (hence the busines name "Cookies by the C").  I first learned of Carolyn and her cookies by my sister-in-law, who would give us samples of her decorated handmade cookies during the holidays. Back then, Carolyn was making them for fun for family and friends.  But as the demand grew for her cookies, she decided to make a business out of it. All cookies made in a commercial kitchen from scratch, and decorated individually by hand.

For this particular order, I told her that I wanted the cookies to be Cars-themed, and she came up with these:

Aren't they cute? They taste really good too. They're crispy, unlike other decorated cookies which tend to be on the softer side.

Here's what she made for us two years ago for the boys' first birthday party:

Cookies by the C is fully booked through the end of the year, as the company is currently hard at work making decorated gingerbread cookies that will be available in Enjoy holiday baskets in limited quantities on Oahu.  But send them an email if you are interested in placing an order in 2017!
