Breakfast from Island Country Markets

Our family has visited Island Country Markets - a convenience store / deli, a few times to buy necessities while staycationing in the area.  During a recent staycation, we picked up breakfast there.

I ordered the Ultimate Hash Brown - hash browns mixed with bacon, bell peppers, cheese, scrambled eggs, pork sausage, and cheese.  It was very tasty and filling - I had enough leftovers for lunch!

The Denver Breakfast Burrito consisted of ham, bacon, onion, bell pepper, cheese, eggs, and salsa.

One of my sons opted for the Create Your Own Omelette, which includes choice of 3 veggies, 1 meat, and 1 cheese (he chose spinach, mushroom, green onion, pork sausage, and Swiss).

Omelettes and burritos are served with rice or breakfast potatoes.

My other two sons ordered the pancakes topped with a banana caramel glaze, strawberries, and whipped cream.  It was quite a large serving!

We also picked up some SPAM Musubis to snack on later.

Although I thought the food was good, it took forty minutes to be made. Forty minutes! That's a long time to be hanging out at a convenience store.

Next time, we'll stick to pre-made foods.
