Recently-Opened at Barbers Point Golf Course - Molly's BBQ and Seafood

Many are familiar with the Molly's BBQ and Seafood in Wahiawa, and a second location just opened up several weeks ago at Barbers Point Golf Course.

Chicken & Waffles

Create Your Own Omelette (1 protein + 3 veggies)

Fried Rice Omelette

Pancakes

Belgian Waffle with SPAM and Eggs

I had the Fried Rice Omelette.  Omelette plates come with hash browns, grits, or rice, and toast or a biscuit.  I thought the fried rice in the omelette was very tasty!  I wish the hash browns were a little crisper, but overall it was a satisfying meal.

My middle son loves being able to pick and choose what he wants in an omelette, so he opted to create his own with ham, mushrooms, spinach, and onions.  For some reason his plate came with 2 servings of toast.

My husband ordered the Chicken & Waffles.  The chicken was good, but I thought the pieces were a bit small.

The food took painfully long - we were the only ones in the dining room at the time we arrived, and it took 45 minutes for the food to get to us.  When I went to pay, the owner, Molly, explained how someone just started that day whom she was training, and she apologized for how slow it was.

The food is also pretty pricey.  The cheapest dish was the pancakes at $8.99; $13.99 was the most expensive dish we ordered - the Chicken & Waffles.

The main differences between the Barbers Point Golf Course and the Wahiawa location is that the golf course restaurant serves breakfast, and the lunch menu is limited due to lack of certain equipment.

I'd still like to try out the Wahiawa location one day - and hopefully we won't have to wait as long for the food!
