Five Guys Burgers and Fries in Mililani

I first heard about Five Guys Burgers and Fries when Nat posted about her visit to the New York location in 2012.  It wasn't until two years later, when our family went to Phoenix, did I get to try this popular burger spot.

When news broke that Mililani would be the site of Hawaii's first Five Guys, there was a lot of excitement.  Once they opened, there were many comments on social media about how high the prices were compared to the mainland, but that didn't deter us from giving the place a try.

BLT with Grilled Onions and Grilled Mushrooms, Cajun Fries

Bacon Burger "All the Way"
The BLT with mushrooms and onions was really good.  I felt like there was not enough bacon in the BLT, but it was quite a filling sandwich.

I still loved the Cajun fries.  We were smart this time, however, and ordered a small, because the last time we ordered two large fries (one regular, one Cajun) for our family to share, and we had so much leftover since they really give a lot!

My husband ordered the Bacon Burger "All the Way" (mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, ketchup, and mustard).  You can also add jalapeno peppers, green peppers, and different sauces.

Yes, the prices may be a bit high, but the food is really good!
