Shave Ice from Baldwin's Sweet Shop

It's been two years since we last visited Baldwin's Sweet Shop!  We decided to go there after brunch at nearby Shiro's.

Cherry + Watermelon + Guava

Chocolate

Cherry + Fruit Punch + Cotton Candy

Chocolate + Pineapple + Grape
We got four keiki cups with ice cream.  I was not planning on eating any, but my oldest son requested chocolate shave ice, and then after the employee poured the syrup on, my son asked for chocolate + pineapple + grape (don't ask).  So I decided to just eat the chocolate shave ice.  It was good, but to me, chocolate does not belong on shave ice.  Fruity, tropical flavors are more to my liking when it comes to shave ice.

Or root beer (I love root beer shave ice with vanilla ice cream!).

The Cherry + Watermelon + Guava was my favorite combo that the kids concocted.

Baldwin's offers many different flavors and variations (e.g. with azuki beans, snow cap, etc.).

They also offer a wide range of snacks that are perfect for omiyage.
