Visit Kauai: Oasis on the Beach

On our first night in Kauai, we had dinner at Oasis on the Beach.

Complimentary Bread

Makaweli Ranch Burger

Kids Hot Dog

Pork Wontons

Crispy Okinawan Sweet Potato Chips
I decided to get two starters for my dinner - the pork wontons with a spicy ginger soy dipping sauce, and the Okinawan sweet potato chips, which was served with a smoked poblano cheese sauce.  I really should've only ordered just the wontons - I struggled to finish the potato chips since the wontons were so satisfying.

The filling in the wontons was perfectly seasoned, and I loved the dipping sauce, which actually didn't seem spicy at all.

The sweet potato chips were good, but I felt it could've used more of the cheese sauce.

My husband had the Makaweli Ranch burger, which consisted of crispy tobacco onions, bacon jam, mustard, arugula, and chevre.  It was a great burger!

Each of my kids got the Hot Dog from the Kids Menu.  The French fries were some of the best I've ever eaten!

Service was excellent! One of the employees kept joking around with my kids and was just so friendly.

The views of Waipouli Beach were just spectacular!

We had a very lovely meal at Oasis on the Beach!
