Thai Issan Cuisine - Aiea

Our family recently had lunch at Thai Issan Cuisine, which took the place of Champa Thai in Pearl Kai Shopping Center

We usually get Spring Rolls whenever we eat Thai food, and these did not disappoint. Stuffed with veggies, long rice, and pork, they were delish.

My kids loved the Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken. The chunks of pineapple gave a pleasant, sweet contrast to the savory chicken.

The Fried Chicken, which was seasoned with lemongrass and house spices, was pretty good.

My husband ate up the Red Curry, which was prepared with coconut milk, bamboo shoots, and eggplant.

I really enjoyed the Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) - chow fun noodles sauteed with garlic, basil, bean sprouts, chili sauce, and veggies. It was full of flavor and spice, but I could've done without all of the broccoli.

Service was good, and we had a nice meal!
