Coconut Waikiki Hotel Debuts "Fridays at the Coconut"

Coconut Waikiki Hotel debuts “Fridays at the Coconut,” just in time for summer, which will take place every Friday this summer from 4-7 p.m. at 450 Lewers Street

Every Friday, attendees can dance the night away with entertainment by seasoned Hawaiian artist Sonny Kapu and engage in cultural Hawaiian activities such as lei making as well as traditional Hawaiian lomilomi massage. Enjoy the infamous Hawaiian luau plate by Meesh’s Kitchen, one of the only local family-owned and operated Hawaiian food venue in Waikiki. The Hawaiian food menu includes Laulau Pig, Chicken Long Rice, Lomi Salmon, Beef Stew, Smoke Guava Chicken, Pineapple Coleslaw and Potato Salad—all island local favorites. The 81-room colorful and intimate boutique hotel, managed by Filament Hospitality, is currently undergoing a Hawaiian theme refresh by award-winning SF-based designer Anthony Laurino, which will unveil this August.
