The Dumb Coq

I had an hour to kill before I needed to be at the nearby Hawaii Theatre so I stopped in here for a drink and a quick bite.  It was a little before 5pm so it was pretty quiet.  The staff was super friendly and invited me to sit at the bar.

I started with their mojito and I really wanted to order the burger that everyone raves about, but I knew I wouldn't be able to finish it or take it home so I ended up ordering the Black and Bleu Salad because I love, love blue cheese.

The salad was filling and the Dijon vinaigrette was tasty and the right amount.  The blackened chicken breast pieces were yummy and the slices of pear were so refreshing.  This salad was really good and big enough to share so when you dine at the Dumb Coq, you can order the burger!

The Dumb Coq is located 12 S King Street and is open Monday through Saturday from 11am.

Seating at the Bar

Nice and spacious.  Seems like a great place for groups.
