Mexico Lindo

I first went to the original Mexico Lindo location in Kaneohe over a decade ago.  I don't remember much about that meal, actually, so I was eager to try the current Kailua location with my family.

Complimentary Chips & Salsa

Grande Burrito

Chicken Chimichanga

Keiki Chicken Enchilada

Keiki Chicken Mini Quesadilla

As soon as we sat down we were given two baskets of chips and salsa.

And shortly thereafter a third.

And then a fourth.

We all ate them up so quickly - the chips and salsa were quite good!  I love that they don't charge extra for more chips and salsa.

I ordered my usual at Mexican restaurants - a chicken chimichanga.  It was served with sour cream, guacamole, salsa fresca, Spanish rice, and beans, and it was huge!! It was really good, and was enough for four meals!

My husband ordered the enormous Grande Burrito.  It was filled with shredded chicken and beef, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, rice and beans.  It's served with a salad (although you can request rice and beans instead).

Keiki meals are $7.95 and include a drink.

Service was overall good (it did slow down a bit as the meal went on - some of our glasses were empty and we didn't get our drinks refilled until we were almost done with the meal), and we really enjoyed the food.  Mexico Lindo is definitely one of my top spots for Mexican!
