Visit Maui: Three's Bar and Grill

For our trip to Maui last month, I asked a friend for family-friendly recommendations, and one of the restaurants she suggested was Three's Bar and Grill.

Complimentary Chips and Salsa
Keiki Chicken Strips with Fries

Hurricane Fries

Kalua Pork Nachos

Lianna's Mac and Cheese
Three's Homemade Habanero Wings
Macadamia Nut Bread Pudding with Bananas Foster Sauce

We had reservations during Happy Hour (3-6pm; 9-10pm; we actually didn't receive a Happy Hour Menu, but fortunately we overheard a neighboring table talk about it and the server apologized that we weren't given one in the first place), so we made sure to take advantage of some of the specials.

The Hurricane Fries, Nachos, and Wings were all from the Happy Hour Menu.

The Hurricane Fries was a must try for me.  Fries were topped with furikake, a sriracha aioli, and mochi crunch.  It was pretty good, but I think I could've done without the mochi crunch.

The nachos were served with three types of chips and a truffle-lime aioli.  I liked this dish the most out of the three Happy Hour items we ordered.

The bread pudding was absolutely delish - my favorite part of the meal!

Kids meals are a little on the pricey side, and don't include drinks or dessert, but typical faves like mac and cheese and chicken strips can be found on the keiki menu.

Service was very friendly, however overall service was slow - it took a while for the server to take our orders, we had to flag servers down to get water refills and napkins, and it took a really, really long time to get our dessert (the server eventually told us something happened with our order so she ended up giving us the dessert for free).

I did enjoy the food though, and I would definitely want to go back to try out the regular menu
