Banana Bread Recipe

Banana bread is one of my favorite homemade snacks. I try to make it if we have over ripe bananas. It's easy to make and my kids love helping me mash the bananas.  Here's an easy and yummy banana bread recipe.

Ingredients:
3 or 4 ripe banana, mashed
1/2 cup butter
2 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup sour cream

In a bowl, cream butter, sugar and vanilla until fluffy.  Add eggs and beat well.  In a separate bowl, mix flour and baking soda. Fold in the dry ingredients, the bananas, and the sour cream to the butter mixture.  Mix until dry ingredients are moistened. Pour batter into loaf pans (I line my loaf pans with wax paper). Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.

It goes great with coffee! Enjoy!!
