Breakfast at Nancy's Kitchen

I recently went to Nancy's Kitchen for breakfast with my husband and youngest son.  It's been years since I've been to Nancy's Kitchen, a place I always thought was a great spot for local comfort food, so I was hoping the food would be as good as I remembered.

Fried Rice

Kids Hotcakes n' Things

Homemade Hash Browns

French Toast Combo (with Bacon & Eggs, below)

I ordered the Fried Rice, and at first glance it looked like it would be tasteless - it just looked like regular rice topped with garnishes. But looks are deceiving! The Fried Rice was so tasty - I was pleasantly surprised!

The "Hash Browns" were good, and my husband enjoyed his French Toast Combo.

There are only two options for kids, but at just $3.75, it's a good deal. My son opted for the Hotcakes n' Things - 1 Hotcake with Bacon (or Vienna Sausage or SPAM).

Service was great, prices were very reasonable, and the food was yummy - we had a very nice breakfast!
