Top 10 Reasons to Make OHANA Waikiki East Your Home Away from Home for a Weekend (or Longer)

Last month I stayed at the OHANA Waikiki East for the first time.  Here are my Top 10 reasons why you should choose OHANA Waikiki East to be your home away from home for a weekend (or longer).

1. Overall value: At the OHANA Waikiki East, you'll get more than just a place to sleep.  You'll get a variety of services and amenities that will make your stay comfortable and convenient.  You can also get a large suite at a price lower than what many hotels closer to the beach charge for a typical guest room.

2. Free Trolley Rides: OHANA Waikiki East guests simply need to show their hotel key cards to get complimentary rides on the Pink Line Trolley.  No need to drive through Waikiki traffic or find/pay for parking!  The Pink Trolley goes from Waikiki to Ala Moana Center.
3. Convenient location: The OHANA Waikiki East is conveniently located in the heart of Waikiki.  It's just a short walk to shopping centers, restaurants, and the beach!
4. Spacious suites: Our 1-Bedroom Suite with Kitchenette was spacious, providing our family with plenty of room throughout our stay.

5. On-site Dining:  OHANA Waikiki East has several eateries on-site (we dined at Keoni by Keo's for breakfast).

6. Pool: A large pool was the perfect place to cool off!
7. Complimentary beach tote: You can never get too many totes!  The tote came in very handy for the shopping and exploring we did throughout Waikiki.
8. Views: Our suite had a nice view of the ocean, as well as the beautiful lights of Waikiki.
9. Kitchenette: A kitchenette enables you to save money by cooking your own meals (a grocery store right across the street makes it convenient to pick up all the ingredients!).

10. Other complimentary amenities and services: An $11.95 daily OHANA Waikiki Connection fee ($6 for Kama`aina) includes some great amenities, such as complimentary newspaper and internet access.  A Business Center and Fitness Center are also on property.
