6th Annual Rice Fest

This year’s Labor Day weekend was full of great events. On Saturday, Hawaii Mom Blog was invited to a media preview for the 6th Annual Rice Fest, so I checked it out with a friend. The super fun event held at Ward Village is partnered with Street Grindz and Eat the Street to bring the largest food line up and a full day of activities including cooking and eating competitions and live entertainment.

The Rice Fest brings awareness to Lanakila Meals on Wheels, a wonderful program that helps to feed Hawaii’s hungry seniors. This was my first year attending, but I will definitely be back next year with the family!

Just a sampling of the food you will find at the Rice Fest!  Clockwise:  Girls Who Bake; Milk Tea Hawaii; Risotto; Kuuipos; Nani Kore; Il Gelato; Nosh; Shrimp fried rice.

The Ukulele Super Kids are amazing!
