Manis and Pedis at La Bella Nails

Gem and I had the best Saturday morning getting manis and pedis at La Bella Nails, a full service nail salon located on Keeaumoku Street.  It was so nice taking a short mommy break and getting pampered with a bestie was like icing on the cake!

Gem, who hadn't treated herself since her wedding day (11 years ago!) had a mani/pedi with regular nail polish and I opted to try a gelish manicure in addition to a pedicure.  The nail technicians were very friendly and very professional in keeping us relaxed while performing nail shaping, cuticle care, buffing, and massaging our feet.  Lastly, they applied the polish that we selected.  My nail technician did a fantastic job and really took her time to make my toes look their best.

I decided to try the Gelish because it lasts longer than regular nail polish which I tend to chip within the first couple of days.  There are over 24 colors you can choose from.  Because they need to be cured under a UV light, you walk out of the salon with your nails fully dry.  There's no need to worry that you might smudge your pretty nails!

La Bella Nails also offers Cal Gel which can only be used by qualified and trained nail technicians.  The designs with Cal Gel are endless!  They also offer specially priced manis and pedis for children so you can enjoy some quality time with your mini-me.

It's the second day and I've cooked, cleaned, given baths and washed dishes and my nails still look fabulous.  I absolutely love my nails and how clean they look.

La Bella Nails is open daily except Sundays from 11am to 9pm.  They recommend making an appointment and free parking is available in the Likelike Plaza.  For a price list, visit their website.  Go and treat yourself!

Look at all the colors to choose from!  They carry OPI and China Glaze as well as a few other brands.  Gelish comes in about 24 colors.

There are 4 manicure and 4 pedicure stations.

Mommies getting pampered!

A huge thank you to La Bella Nails for the complimentary manis and pedis!  The ME time was greatly needed and appreciated!  All gratuities were paid on our own.
