Macarons from Sweet Treats By Kris

I had the best Monday morning. I got to the office and my co-worker had coffee waiting for me.  Then, another co-worker pops in to drop off two white pirie mangoes!  I'm seriously on top of the world.  Minutes later I get a See's dark chocolate almond bar and a thank you note.  It couldn't get any better, but then I get a special delivery: a macaron sampler pack of a dozen different flavors plus a super cute bear shaped macaron!  Yay!!

The macarons are from a friend who wanted to get some feedback on the flavors.  I held out and waited until I got home so my kids and I could do a proper taste test.

Taste testing is serious business!

First off, the macarons are both so pretty and delicious! The cookie itself is sweet and chewy and the fillings are full of flavor!  My favorites were strawberry and chocolate while Lauren loved butterfinger, red velvet, and coffee.  Cade preferred the guava and the bear shaped macaron.  Although we all had our favorites, we honestly liked them all except for the green tea macaron.  But that's only because the three of us don't like anything green tea flavored.

Other available flavors include lemon crunch, mocha, cookies and cream, and so much more.  A dozen of the same flavor macarons start at $20.  Visit her Facebook page for more info or email sweettreatsbykris@gmail.com
