New to Ward: Bellini Bistro & Bar

Raspberry and Bellini's bellini.  You can even create your own!

Bellini Bistro & Bar is an Italian Bistro brought to you by Maile from Maile's Thai Bistro in Hawaii Kai.  I love that the modern and classy restaurant fronts Ward Center on Auahi Street.  It made for the perfect dinner choice after watching a late matinee.

The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor options.  Sitting outdoors, enjoying the last minutes of the sun while sipping on signature bellinis was a great way to end the weekend.

I had the pollo alla aglio soia - chicken thighs seasoned and sautéed in garlic, anchovies and olive oil.  It was very delicious, although I thought the portion of the pasta could have been more generous.  I love pasta!  You can also opt for potatoes or vegetables.

If you like garlic, you'll love this dish!

After an amazing meal, my friend and I were a little sad that they didn't have any cheesecake that night.  We ended up getting the Paradise Cake which is 3 layers of gelato (mango, coconut, and guava).  It was so refreshing and tasty that in hindsight, it was definitely a better choice than cheesecake.

The Paradise Cake is 3 layers of gelato.

Bellini's is a great addition to the Ward neighborhood.
