Our First 2015 Trip on Hawaiian Airlines

Our first trip on Hawaiian Airlines for 2015 brought us to Las Vegas and back from Los Angeles.

Service at the airports and onboard was once again exceptional.

We took the red-eye flight to Vegas, so we weren't served any meals, but we did get Pau Hana Snack Mix (the Pau Hana Snack Cart did have items for purchase, such as cookies, chips, etc.).

Hello Las Vegas!
The flight went smoothly, and seemed to go by rather quickly!  We had an on-time departure and early arrival.

For the first time we flew on the evening flight out of Los Angeles (we usually take the first morning flight out).  We left the gate on time, but were sitting on the tarmac for a little while due to an air traffic control tower delay (very busy with lots of flights coming and going at the same time), and we arrived just a few minutes late.

We were once again served Pau Hana Snack Mix...
as well as Spaghetti with Meatballs and Mushroom Marinara, Local Greens with Dressing, and Hawaiian Host AlohaMacs.

Although I didn't eat the meatballs (I gave them to my kids), I must admit this is my favorite of the meals that I've eaten on Hawaiian Airlines. It was quite tasty and satisfying. My kids loved it too, which meant they ended up with spaghetti sauce all over their hands and faces (for my youngest, I ended up cutting the noodles with the fork so he could easily scoop it up with the spoon). Despite the messiness, this was the first time everyone in my family ate up their meals on a Hawaiian Airlines flight (usually my husband ends up eating all the kids' leftovers).

The service, the food, and the timeliness of the flights are just a few of the reasons why I love flying on Hawaiian Airlines, and will be doing so many more times this year.
