Visit Phoenix: The Henry

After asking @PhoenixMomBlog on Instagram for suggestions on must-eat / -visit places in Phoenix, one of the places she recommended was The Henry, so we dined there for lunch on our last day in Phoenix.

Kids Turkey Sandwich with Fries

Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich

Peanut Butter Banana Cake
I thought the popovers were good, and my sandwich, the Wood Grilled Chicken, was very delicious. The chicken was tender, and smothered in provolone, and the sandwich was topped with a truffle aioli. I opted for the slaw instead of fries, and I thought it was good, but I would go for the fries next time (thank goodness I could eat some of my kids' fries!).

My husband and kids enjoyed their meals, and we all really loved the dessert.

The Peanut Butter Banana Cake was a frozen treat, and my favorite part of the dish was the bananas dipped in butterscotch and then chocolate. Total yumminess!

The Henry is a beautiful restaurant, and the food was great.  However, overall service was quite slow, but thankfully service was friendly.  I'd definitely try them again - even if just for the Peanut Butter Banana Cake...
