Mililani Carnival - Last Day Today!

After a very long hiatus, the Mililani Carnival returned, and continues through today, Sunday, February 22 (11am-6pm).

We took the kids to the carnival last night and met up with some friends.

We found parking near the YMCA, and met up with our friends at about 4:15pm.

There was quite a lot of people, but lines for scrips, ride tickets, rides, and food were fairly short.

However, once it got dark, more and more people came, and it was completely packed.  The lines were crazy long (and disorganized - people kept standing in the wrong line and asking others what they were standing in line for).

But, the kids had fun riding rides and playing games, and that's what really mattered.

Although the number of rides were limited compared to the bigger carnivals, there were still plenty of rides the kids enjoyed.

There were a lot of food and game options. EK Fernandez booths sold the typical carnival fare - Corn Dogs, French Fries, Funnel Cakes, Cotton Candy, Pizza, etc. Mililani fundraising booths offered more local-style eats, such as poke bowls, shoyu chicken, mochi, BBQ Chicken, and saimin (EK Fernandez booths for both food and games accepted cash; Mililani fundraising booths for food and games accepted scrips).

Overall it was a very fun (and expensive!) day and night at the carnival!
