Another Trip to LAX on Hawaiian Airlines

Once again we flew on Hawaiian Airlines from Honolulu (HNL) to Los Angeles (LAX) and back.

Hawaiian Airlines is our airline of choice for a many reasons, including on-time performance, complimentary in-flight dining, and fare sales, but the primary reason we fly Hawaiian Airlines is because of the service.

Check-in was a breeze both ways. Going to LAX I checked in online at home; returning I checked in with Hawaiian Airline's mobile app.

In HNL, there was no line to use the kiosks, and printing our bag tags was a cinch.  In LAX we had to wait in a fairly long line to use a kiosk so our boarding passes could be printed at the check-in counter, but fortunately the line moved quickly.

On both flights we were served brunch, and both meals were identical with the exception of Pineapple being served out of HNL, and Watermelon being served out of LAX.

A snack of Sweet Maui Onion Potato Chips were served near the end of the flights, along with complimentary soft drinks, juices, and Koloa Breeze Rum Punch.

Out of HNL, we also got a coupon for a free Shutterfly photobook!

HNL to LAX In-Flight Dining
Fresh Fruit (Pineapple, Honeydew Melon, Cantaloupe, Red Grapes); Cheese & Crackers, Water Cuplet, AlohaMac Chocolate

Only a few of our family members ate the fruit, but my kids LOVED the cheese and crackers, as well as the chocolate (of course!).  The cheese and crackers were actually my favorite items of the meals too.

Service was excellent at HNL, LAX, and onboard, and we departed on time and arrived early on both flights.

Whenever we travel on Hawaiian, I usually see one of my former co-workers from the airline I used to work at, and this time was no exception.  It's great to see so many people I used to work with still in the industry for such a great airline, continuing to spread the aloha spirit that is evident each time we fly with Hawaiian Airlines.

I'm looking forward to the same great service with aloha the next time I travel on Hawaiian Airlines!
