Visit Vancouver: Cafe Medina

When searching for a breakfast spot in Vancouver, Cafe Medina would often be mentioned, so of course we had to make a visit.
Belgian Waffles with toppings (from top left clockwise: Raspberry Caramel, Salted Caramel, Milk Chocolate Lavender, Dark Chocolate
Three Cheese Frittata
Paella - Baked Egg, Orzo, Chorizo, Zucchini, Red Pepper, Corn, Grano Padano, Watercress, Avocado, Tomato Salad
I thought the Belgian Waffles, which they are known for, were pricey for the size, but were really yummy.  The toppings are $1 each, and they were all really good, but my my fave was the Milk Chocolate with Lavender.

The Frittata was very delicious, and my husband really liked the Paella, which is one of the most popular dishes at Cafe Medina.

Cafe Medina was packed when we arrived, and we did have a bit of a wait for a table, but it was totally worth it.

Cafe Medina will be moving into a larger spot on Richards Street in August, and they'll be offering dinner too!
