Christmas Lights in Waikele

Every single house on Hopoe Place in Waikele (Waipahu) is decorated in some way for the holidays.

Some homes have numerous decorations and inflatables.

Others simply have a yard display, or a single decoration.

But the fact that every single house on this street participates is fantastic.

My favorite display is the car decorated with Christmas lights (bottom right), with Santa behind the wheel.

And just one street over, on Anapau Place, is a house that attracts large crowds because of its festive display that is synchronized with music (and other houses nearby have lights that are synchronized with the same music as well).

It's afun place to take the keiki during the holidays!
